Large reclaimed wooden surround in a Neoclassical composition, with fluted pilasters, acanthus capitals and stepped bases. The frieze is finely carved with classical scenes, garland swags and a central chariot panel. Putti and female figures feature to the end blocks.

A deep shelf sits above dentil moulding.

Complete with a black slate slip.

Well-proportioned with strong architectural presence, suited to larger rooms or period interiors.
