Reclaimed Richly Decorated Wooden Fireplace Surround

This reclaimed carved fireplace surround is defined by its crisp, high-relief carving and warm, natural grain. The frieze is centred with a bold floral garland—roses, leaves and trailing swags—flanked by fluted panels and carved rosette roundels to the end blocks.

The jambs are substantial and well balanced, each dressed with corbels. Dentil moulding runs beneath the shelf.
