Antique Victorian Cast Iron Fireplace with Tiles

An attractive late Victorian cast iron fireplace insert, dating to the late 19th century, featuring decorative Victorian floral tiles and finely detailed cast iron ornamentation.

The fireplace incorporates a traditional arched fire opening, framed by a decorative cast iron border with reeded detailing and repeating floral roundels. Above the opening sits an intricately cast diamond lattice panel.

The piece is flanked by original cream glazed ceramic tiles, decorated with alternating stylised tulip and daisy motifs. The tiles display an attractive aged patina and fine crazing.

The insert has been fully restored and is ready for installation and use. A bespoke gas kit can also be supplied should gas be your preferred fuel option. Please contact us for further details.
