This is a large cast iron "sarcophagus" register grate in the manner of George Bullock (c.1780-1818).

The cast iron fireplace insert features an intricate brass rim, detailed brass claw feet above the base, and lion heads in the corners to finish.

The original fireplace insert has been fully restored in-house and is ready to be installed and used. The 4-bar integral basket can hold a bespoke gas kit if required, please contact us for more details.
