Antique Polished Cast Iron Fireplace Surround

The chimneypiece is an original nineteenth-century, featuring a variety of Neoclassical decorative elements and has been fully restored and hand-polished in-house at our Hertfordshire warehouse.  

The very attractive metallic finish accentuates dentil decoration that separates the molded shelf and lintel. Fluted jambs are topped by urns, whilst trailing swags surround an oval sunburst to the centre of the frieze.
