PRODUCT ID: SORRELL
Crafted from exquisite Ashburton marble, this original late 19th-century surround displays an enigmatic palette of soft greys, warm golds, and subtle veining.
The bolection has a deep cushion with elegant, expertly carved reeded details framing the outer edge that is repeated around the opening.
The architecturally bold design of the bolection, pairs beautifully with both period and contemporary interiors.
Ashburton marble became especially fashionable during the Georgian and Victorian periods, however today, it is no longer quarried on a commercial scale, making it increasingly rare. Its combination of historical significance, natural beauty, and craftsmanship places it among the most collectible British decorative stones.
