Large Antique Italian Giltwood 19th Century 8 Arm Chandelier

This large mid-19th-century chandelier is composed of 8 ornate giltwood S shape arms.

The intricate detailing throughout this carved piece provides an opulent light feature.

Decorative foliage adorns the scrolling arms with trumpet bobeche drip pans that support tall candles which cradle the lightbulbs. A reeded and bulbous central column with beautiful ornate base and inverted berried terminal. The chandelier has wonderful and authentic patination.
