Bolection Fireplace Surround Made From Reclaimed Travertine Marble

An elegant chimneypiece crafted from reclaimed Travertine marble, this bolection fireplace offers a simple design that would sit well in both a traditional or contemporary setting.

Travertine offers an attractive and robust material and its use dates back thousands of years. It was popularised by the Romans who used the marble to create aqueducts, temples and amphitheatres; the Colosseum in Rome was constructed mostly of travertine.

This cushioned profile bolection-moulded surround surmounts simple block ends making for a striking and sophisticated fireplace that will sit well in both traditional and contemporary spaces.
