An antique Georgian chimneypiece crafted from ornately carved pine.
The fireplace surround is an original nineteenth-century piece and features finely carved foliage to the border of the opening. Scrolling acanthus leaves extend from central cartouche which is flanked by a sea of exquisitely carved garlands of oak leaves and acorns, representing peace, prosperity, and strength.
A fine example of opulent Georgian design that would provide an original and characterful feature to a Georgian renovation.
