Antique Black Belgian Marble Napoleon III Style Fire Surround

This spectacular antique chimneypiece has been crafted and carved from Belgian Black marble. In the style of Napoleon III, including finely carved ornaments and consoles on the legs. 

The deep moulded shelved rests above the panelled frieze.Each of the console jambs are flanked with decorative spirals. The jambs terminate in richly carved lion's paw feet on robust footblocks.

The original 19th-century fireplace is a spectacular piece has been gently restored in-house and is ready for installation.
