Antique Georgian Carrara Marble Chimneypiece

Crafted from Italian Carrara marble, this antique surround offers an original Georgian architectural element.

The simple form of the "crossover" (the lintel spans completely across the width and rests upon the jambs) was a popular design seen throughout Georgian homes.

The surround has been gently restored in-house. There have been break repairs to the lintel, please see images.
