Victorian Cast Iron Tiled Fireplace Insert with Floral Panels

A fine example of late Victorian craftsmanship. The arched opening is framed by intricate classical motifs, including swags, medallions, and a finely cast border.

Flanking the insert are beautifully preserved hand painted floral tiles, their vivid magenta and green tones offer a perfect contrast against the dark ironwork.
