A fine quality Georgian polished steel register grate in the Neoclassical Adam design.
The imposing piece has a curved and pierced apron with fluted fret and beaded moulding. The integral fire basket is enclosed by 4 bowed horizontal bars.
The front panels with oval paterae, surmounted by urn finials. The frame with matching oval patera to centre is flanked by round complimentary pateras.
The piece is also decorated with elegant urn finials.
