Antique Grand Georgian Fire Basket with Finials

This large and impressive antique fire basket exudes a classic Georgian design. 

The highly decorative pierced brass fret delivers motifs of mythical birds and creatures, Athenian foliage, drapery, and urns. The grand piece has large engraved finials to the front whilst brass beading and engravings trail down and around the legs. 

The tall integral cast iron fireback has a deep profile ethereal scene. The basket has bow-fronted bars and is flanked by a further two brass finials.
