Antique Mid 19th Century Fire Basket

A fine example of a mid-19th-century design, this polished cast iron fire basket offers a very handsome addition to a fireplace.

The 3-bar basket stands proud on fluted feet with turned finials.  The simple linear bars surmount the decorated apron. The basket has a shaped fire back with a deep profile motif. finials. 

The grand piece has been fully restored in-house and is ready for installation and use.
