Antique Carrara Marble Late Georgian Fireplace Surround

This reclaimed, antique Georgian fireplace surround has restrained neoclassical form, with broad jambs, simple foot blocks, and a plain frieze beneath a substantial shelf.

The marble features strong natural veining throughout. The simple architectural design allows the character of the stone to remain the focal point.

The 19th Century surround has been gently restored at our Hertfordshire warehouse where it can be viewed alongside a vast collection of antique chimneypieces and other architectural elements.
