A superb antique French-style fireplace surround in striking Arabescato marble, with bold grey veining running through.
Of Louis XVI form, the deeply carved frieze features a continuous arcade of lancet fluting flanked by finely carved rosette corner blocks.
The elegant tapering jambs are reeded throughout and terminate on plain foot blocks.
